Kickass Art for the Day

I'm going to try and post daily. Since I come across a lot of incredibly inspiring art on the several sites I frequent, I figured I'd share artwork on any of the days I don't have anything incredibly interesting to write.

I'm really starting to love landscapes. Today at the McNay Art Museum in San Antonio, I came across one of Cezanne's beautiful landscapes, Houses on the Hill. If you look it up on Google images, you'll be surprised how completely horrible the image quality makes it seem. But I swear, up close and personal, this piece is breathtaking. It's hard to believe something so seemingly modern was painted in the early 1900s.
